hosted by Affinity Hosting on a 5mbps network located in Gardena, California.

We will only host pages that we feel
suit the criteria of this site and that are legal. We will only host images,
code, etc. All downloadable files need to be hosted by a server supplied
by yourself. This is to keep the servers bandwidth at it's best at all
possible times.
Defacto 2 is a program designed to
support underground (but legal) groups and webpages out there in the world
known as the internet. Our program is design to unite groups under a common
and recognisable name to give those numerous but small groups the power
of a major player. This enables the smaller member groups (called divisions
or affiliations) to use a united brand name of Defacto 2 for their releases
and products.
While all the divisions are running
independently of each other, they each have access to shared resources
which is available to all divisional groups. Using these resources and
a single name means that you don’t have to spend time worrying about establishing
a name for yourselves, nor do you have to focus your efforts into public
relations which could be better spent elsewhere.
Obviously with so many different
groups and affiliates using the same resources there has to be some agreement
onto how these are managed. And Defacto 2 is no exception, for there to
be no disagreement we have a clear and concessive set of rules (listed
in a constitution) that
must be followed. While this may seem very authoritarian at first, upon
reading the constitution
you will find that the rules do not interfere with the running of the individual
divisions.
After reading our constitution,
if you feel that your group, webpage etc. would like to join Defacto 2
or you would like to start up a new division then submit a proposal to
ipggi@defacto2.net. Your proposal
should include who, what, how, why. Plus anything else you think would
attract yourselves away from the rest of the crowd. We are pretty selective
over who we choose, but don’t let that stop you from trying, we like originality.
