        Borealis was founded at a  small  party organized in Kouvola, Finland.
        The name comes from aurora borealis,  which means 'northern lights' in
        english and 'revontulet' in finnish. We just dropped the 'aurora' off,
        and came up with  borealis.  The  correct  abbreviation of borealis is
        BOR. BTW, the date of foundation is 11.2.96
