Jetman 4k by Jos "oNyx" Hirth [http://kaioa.com] for the Java 4k Game Competiton MK3. jm4k.jar 3950 d 144 ------------- total 4094 2 bytes left :) You need to install a soundbank to play the game with the JRE (JDK/SDK already has one). Grab it here: http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/sound/soundbanks.html Midsize is enough. Drop the soundbank.gm file into "/jre/audio/". Usually you'll need to create the "audio" directory first. The game runs in 640x480x32 or 640x480x16 (fullscreen) @0hz - that means it will use the default refresh rate. It's supposed to be played at 75hz. Everything else will result in more or less speed than intended. Run the game in 32bit mode: java -cp .;jm4k.jar D Run the game in 16bit mode: java -cp .;jm4k.jar D any arguments will do the trick :) Btw you can fly backwards by pressing (and holding) the direction you want to move to first and then the other one. Some keyboards doesn't recognize left+up+right properly, therefore does the same as (just in case you wondered about that). This pile o'software is provided "as is". Have fun. Don't sue me.
