It doesn't really make the file smaller, but after aligning it with my wipe.reloc its size can be slightly decreased. There are 2 stubs you can choose: - smallest possible stub (-s switch) It is 12 bytes long, but does not work in dos - it should reject it stating "Cannot execute". It is immediately followed by the PE header, overlapping a dword at file offset 3ch, which is the (usually unused) BaseOfData member of the PE header. This should work but hasn't been tested yet. - default stub (without any switch) It is 64 bytes long, in dos it displays a "Win32 reqd." message. It does not overlap the PE header. The tinystub also sets the correct PE checksum and recovers the previous times of the file. I want to thank B.
