NFO Simon the Sorcerer's Pinball (c) AdventureSoft from Class (15)
NFO African Safari Trophy Hunter 3D (c) WizardWorks/GT Interactive Software (17)
This NFO has been sent out by Darkside Inc. in a bid to tell people what they claim is the truth about the so-called stealing of utility cracks.
NFO Beavis & Butthead Bunghole In One (c) GT Interactive from Class (25)
This is the first and list time we will do a favor like this but could someone take back #djs on efnet for Saint Tok?
NFO Luftwaffe Commander (c) SSi from Class (48)
Razors re-release of Hesperian Wars is causing some problems. Paradigm is still claiming that their release from four months ago is a store final. While some sites have nuked the Razor release as a dupe others are leaving it alone.
NFO StarCraft Brood War (c) Blizzard from CIFE (47 ISO)
NFO Skullcaps (c) Creative Edge/Ubisoft from CIFE (18 ISO)
Along with the repack Fusion's SpeedBusters also requires a fix to run the game correctly on one of the tracks.
Fusion have admitted they stuffed up their release of SpeedBusters and have since released a repackaged version (packed by Backlash no less). The problem involves "We have made a mistake when we renamed the .bin that's why it's a repack!"
NFO Carnivores (c) Wizard Works from DVNISO (6 ISO)
NFO Carnivores (c) WizardWorks/GTI from Class (15)
I have had this interview for a little while but decided to put it online, it is with myself and The Candy Man founder of The Humble Guys.
CDogg is organising a massive scene party / convention for all of us. It would be held in the South Carolina (S/E USA) coastal town of Myrtle Beach which is ment to be sunny even during winter. Food and drinks will be included so if you want to help him or wish to go drop him a line at cdogg@nirvana.net.
Proficient, a popular script on the scene has finally been updated to work with Mirc 5.41.
Regular Version (172kb)
Deluxe Version (770kb)
T.C.A is back at a new tempary url, the pages are not a 100% though some would say they never where :). http://cpu1058.adsl.bellglobal.com/tca/ will take you there.
Well Paradigm have released another version of WCW Nitro (c) THQ. They are claiming this version to be the store final, so what does that make the Hummer's so-called final version, beta yet again?
Black Acid has been searching for the past for weeks and has finally found someone to host his infamous pages. We will give you the URL when it does return.
A couple of oldies from the art and warez scenes have gotten together to create the ultimate old skool shootem-up. The game is titled AXIA and can be downloaded from http://owl.frc.wmich.edu/axia.
Well there are two different versions of Heretic 2 floating around. One by Class and one by Razor, which came out first? Well obviously both will claim theirs did, so it will be again upto the nukers to decide.
KingXTC's webpage can now be found at http://www.isolate.net/, his site is updated every day with news on new releases and NFO's.
Stairway To Heaven, a site considered one of the best in the world has recently lost two of it's best affiliations. Both Manifest (WHQ) and Class (EHQ) have dropped it. Manifest has replaced their WHQ with Firesite.
Every year the same topics come up, why are the quality of releases so bad at times? Why does Class's Tomb Raider 3 needs to be recracked? Why does Paradigm's Moto Racer 2 need a fix? Why do we have a number of wierd releases for Half Life including betas and beta fixes? Why does Divine insist on releasing crap that no one else will touch?
Jess the one time leader for Vengeance quit her old group recently and has now moved to Dimension.
From this point onwards we hope to bring you a weekly interview with a major person from the scene.
Each interview will be brought to you by Saint Tok and will be published on these pages.
To see this weeks interview with Freddy Krueger, .txt html.
It seems we owe GameOver.net an apology for yesterday's article about a report on their pages.
The report/article was infact an anonymous email that was not intended for public consumption.
GameOver.net never had any intention of releasing this to the public and are disappointed that the public obtained the url.
The Class release of Half-Life today (yet another over-hyped fps game) is now confirmed as beta.
The Class build is 738 while the final build is 742. This is another slap in the face for the group who have already had a shocking month. They also admit breaking the FACTION rule #1 but they claim it was for the good of the scene. But I say whats the point of creating rules if you do not follow or enforce them?
Here is an extract from their NFO ..
Oh it also seems when you use Sierra's online gaming server for multiplayer games the server logs some of your information. Sierra doing a Blizzard I wonder?
Game-over.net has caused uproar among the scene by putting online an article about the scene. The article contained so much information that it might as well have been titled ‘The Newbies Guild To The Games Scene'. The article mentioned how-tos, group names, releases even group irc channels.
Many groups are highly aggravated at this article with many people now threatening a boycott of game-over.net (or worse).
Due to a lack of communication within the group, some members claimed that the article was never meant to be put online.
Even though it was complete and ready, with it's own custom graphics etc.
But the persons who did published and uploaded this article, did it obviously without giving it too much thought.
The article was located at http://www.game-over.net/feature/november/truth/ but has since been erased due to many complaints.

There has been an uproar today after Class nuked Razor's release of Sin, claiming it was a rape and broke the new FACTION rules.
Razor released the game at 50 28.8 disks and in the original release ripped the movies, speech and music. Now here is the tricky part they also took out some of the multiplayer and training maps. Razor then went on to release a music addon at 21 28.8 disks and a Speech and Misc (missing maps) addon at 24 28.8 disks.
Now here are the FACTION rules that are affected ..
2. Every release under this limit will be a functionally and playable complete game. This means that included will be every component necessary for the successful completion of the game (every level, track, course and other NECESSARY component).
> While Razor has removed some multiplayer levels the game is still functional and playable right to the end. All the necessary components are included.
5. Only 2 Add-Ons should be released per game. Each Add-On should be no more than 25 x 2.88 megabyte archives.
> There are only two addons for this release and both are under the 25 disk limit.
So as you can see Class had no reason to nuke Razor's release. Some people (though we do not) have been saying that certain people in Class are being nothing more then cry-babies, who are angry that they did not get their way.
Earlier today someone (we assume an AOL'er) hacked the domain name server which redirected www.defacto2.net to an incorrect webpage. Our domain hosts and InterNIC are going through the logs to see what can be done about this.
Paradigm have released this long awaited title, Railroad Tycoon II (c) Gathering of Developers. And thankfully it's the whole game, nothing was ripped!
It has been brought to my attention by parties concerned that the comment "So remember 'TU: Where the elite speaks' unless you rag big brother :)" maybe taken out of content. The parties concern say that Ice is indeed not censored and he can still post, he just can't read all the conferences.
